- 1Open the Rasoi Setu App and log in to your account.
- 2Go to the bottom menu and tap More / Profile, then open Settings.
- 3Select Security & Account > tap Request Account Deletion.
- 4Enter the 6-digit verification OTP sent to your registered mobile number and confirm.

Data Retention & Deletion Policy
In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies, Apple App Store Guidelines, and applicable Indian data protection laws, here is the transparent breakdown of how your data is managed during account termination:
- •Identity & Profile: Name, personal mobile number, personal email, profile photos, and biography.
- •Authentication Credentials: Password hashes, PIN codes, OTP verification logs, and active session tokens.
- •Staff & Operator Accounts: Sub-user logins created under the merchant account (waiters, cashiers, captains).
- •Device Identifiers: Push notification tokens, Firebase FCM tokens, device IDs, and IP access logs.
- •Custom Settings: Kitchen printer configurations, digital menu theming, discount rules, and customer notes.
- •GST & Tax Invoices: Billed transaction records, GST filing logs, and payment receipts are retained for up to 7 years to fulfill statutory requirements under the Indian Companies Act 2013 and Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act.
- •Financial Transaction Logs: Settlement records, gateway transaction references, and chargeback logs for auditing with banking partners.
- •Fraud Prevention & Security: Minimal security hashes necessary to identify fraudulent chargebacks, charge evasion, or malicious abuse.
- •Encrypted Archiving: Retained records are kept in cold, immutable encrypted archives isolated from public systems.
